SELECTED CREDITS

Field Producer, TAKE NO PRISONERS (99min)

SXSW World Premiere in 2025

I filmed over the course of more than a year with the family of Eyvin Hernandez – an LA public defender imprisoned in Venezuela – as well as with the State Department’s Special Presidential Envoy battling to free him: Roger Carstens, America’s top hostage negotiator. I conducted interviews with Eyvin’s family, friends and people who’d been imprisoned with him, and oversaw shoots with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and other White House officials. I traveled to Venezuela, LA, DC, the Caribbean and San Antonio to make the film.

I scripted and oversaw the edits of two hour-long episodes – “Maui Wildfires” and “Montecito Mudslide” – for a documentary series that tells the stories of major natural disasters and accidents through the eyes of people who survived them.

Field Producer, LEGUIZAMO DOES AMERICA (Season 2)

MSNBC (premiered July 6, 2025) - NBC News Studios

Tubi (premiered May 6, 2023) - VICE News

I secured access to whistleblowers, delved into leaked documents and archive, and conducted interviews to detail how the crime app Citizen spurred a real-life manhunt in LA. I oversaw the documentary from pre- to post-production, including developing the story – based on an article published by the tech site Motherboard – and creating a deck, reporting, filming in LA over several months, scripting and managing the edit, commissioning graphics, working with color and mix, and finally delivering the film, which helped VICE secure a major content deal with Tubi.
